It's a beautiful day today, the sun has just come out and shining gloriously after 2 days and 4 inches of rain, just what the Dr ordered. Today I want to share a couple of things with you, firstly is my entry for the Jot magazine Mood Board Challenge. Here is the very inspirational mood from the Jot team with my take on the challenge below it, I chose to make a card using this gorgeous colour combo

Next is a layout of my Nan and Pop with my Auntie, Uncle and Cousin. c. 1958. And......please don't faint, I have actually journalled by hand!!

Woo Hoo Cheryl...you've set yourself a cracking pace. Beautiful card with the ?washi in the middle of the flower. Lovely to see some handwriting on your vintage page. I don't hand journal very often either, but one of the things I love is coming across something written in my Mother's writing, so I push myself to do it. The pp you used is perfect for the late fifties.....Lovely work :)

You used the colours wonderfully on the card and fabulous photos on your second layout. I am trying to use my handwriting on layouts a bit as well, and I don't particularly like my handwriting.
