And here I am again, two posts in one day, it's a miracle!! Just sharing with you a few pics from a one day scrap retreat  that I attended a little while ago at Joy's Paperwork in Young. We had four fabulous ladies in attendance to share their tips and techniques with us, Kim Ewins, Kylie Symons, Rachael Funnel and Wendy Bennetts. Thank you so much ladies, your giving of time was so appreciated by us all.
This is Kim, showing us her stuff, with Kylie in the background.

And..... more to be posted later....
I seem to be dragging the chain in the land of blog at the moment, must be the age I am at l.o.l.!
However, not to be deterred by that, here is my latest entry for Orange Paperie and Co.My challenge was to create a layout with lots of "white" space andusing monochromatic colours. The pic is of our eldest daughter Tracey walking down the aisle in 1997 with her father.

I guess it's about time I did a bit more blogging. I have just spent the last week at home and it was a very unproductive one for me, just could not motivate. so.......today is the day to get a move on and upload a few layouts that have been hanging around for a while. They are both of my youngest granddaughter Jessica, one when she was little and the other taken last year. She seems to be the only one interested in having her pic taken these days. The one of her when she was little was for my DT at Orange Paperie, ( you will find them on facebook, so pop on over and have a look)

Just a couple of Birthday cards I whipped up yesterday, I have a few layouts to upload but weather not conducive to good picture taking at the moment so they will have to wait for another day.The first one is made using stickers from the Echo Park For the record collection.
The second one is a "cardjack" and created by the fabulous Karen Shady for the Kaiser DT.

Scrapping at Marally.

Spent the most delightful day yesterday in Orange with some amazing scrapping friends, some old, some new.... picked Rachael and Wendy up along the way. We had lunch with the gorgeous Kim, the Amazing Annette and the beautiful Mary....also met I.R.L. the ever so lovely Bec from Marally Crafts, met her last weekend via Skype and just so lovely I.R.L. After lunch we adjourned to Marally where Mary was conducting a class, you will find my version of her class below the pics of the class. After the class the three of us paid a visit to the gorgeous "Craft Queen" Nicole, who was only too happy to open shop even though busy trying to pack and organise things for the Melbourne expo next weekend, thanks Nic for all the goodies and hope the show goes well for you. A perfect ending to a perfect day.

My eldest daughter Tracey. Have used Kaiser 75cents range for this layout, the flowers are Kaiser, the clock is from Scrapmatts and the rusting powder used on clock is from Twiddleybitz.I used a Crafters Workshop template for the background, along with texture paste and Ranger inks.

For the challenge at Orange Paperie. The challenge was to scrap something about new beginnings. My journalling is on the pull out tab to the left of the pic and reads: After living together for 10 years you both decided to tie the knot. 27/9/2007.
Took me ages to do this, it gave me the willies from start to finish.Have used Kaiser papers and embellies from the Botanical Odyssey collection. The large white flower is Manor House Creations, wooden embellies are Kaiser and the key is miscellaneous. I used a bit of gesso to colour it white and then Tim Holtz distress inks over the gesso.

The latest......................had a bit of trouble with this one, it started out to be my take on the latest Stuck sketch, but then things went haywire, sooooooo. this is the end result.Have used papers and transparency's from the Kaiser Periwinkle collection, the fabric rose is Kaiser, and have added a few handmade flowers and Kaiser resin flowers to the cluster.

A sneak of the latest.........soon to be revealed.
Had an unwanted guest in the shed at lunchtime, we were sitting there waiting for the carpets to dry after being cleaned, Sally being the ever vigilant watch dog that she is started going beserk and looking up at the roof. Looked up myself and found myself looking a brown snake practically in the eye. Have never moved to fast in all my life!! A quick call to our local snake man had everything sorted and the little blighter was removed. Ian was telling us that today being a cooler day is why they are out and about as believe it or not, snakes hate the extreme heat as much as we do. I will NEVER!! complain about 40+ degrees ever again.A huge thankyou to Ian Hoy
