Another month and another challenge from Kraftplus. This time Something OLD , Something NEW, Something BORROWED and Something BLUE, was the theme.....
Here is my take.

The SOMETHING OLD I used here was the black tag underneath the photo, I have had it for at least a decade, (or two)... The pic is also an OLD one of our fur baby Wombat and was taken in 2014 when he was little.
The chippy is my SOMETHING NEW and was part of the very generous prize from A-Z Scraplets for being one of the prizewinners in the February challenge. Thank you once again.
I BORROWED a bottle top out of hubby's home brew kit, ran it through the cuttlebug and popped a flair on top, and as you can see used some OLD and New papers in blue.

The weeks are flying by and another challenge is up over at Kraftplus. This months challenge is to create a layout with fussy cutting and combine it with this sketch.

And here is my layout

I fussy cut the doilies using a scrap of old Kaisercraft paper from the Mix and Match collection and the Butterflies using another old Kaiser paper from the All that Glitters collection.
I had in all together and then remembered the sketch so had to ditch a few of the doilies , turn the sketch upside down and start again

Another year done and dusted and here I am .........with a layout for the Kraftplus Challenge over on Facebook. The challenge for this month was to create a layout using Abba songs as your inspiration.
This was a particularly hard challenge for me as 1. I am not really a lover of Kraft Cardstock and 2. I have not scrapped in a long, long, time. I Chose the title "Thanks for the music" as in early January The Relics, a local band from the sixties and seventies had a 50 year reunion at one of the local hotels. It was a fantastic night and particularly so for me as my cousin Phil, the lead guitarist was home from France for a visit and As well as catching up with him for the first time in fifteen years, I got to catch up with other cousins who live far and wide. The old pub fairly rocked till way past my bedtime. Not the clearest of pics sorry, I am a bit rusty.

Just a few quick posts today, as usual I am lagging behind in the blogging department.
First up is my layout for Archiscraps. This month Julene required a vintage page with swirls and we took our inspiration from this pic

and here is my interpretation

The pic is of a house in Cootamundra circa 1930. The house today has been lovingly restored and just as beautiful as the day it was built.

Next is a layout I did for a friend of mine, Vanessa. She has raised her son singlehandedly since the day he was born as well as fighting against many health issues, and the job she has done she can only be proud of, this boy is turning into a kind, caring and very compassionate young person. It's been my pleasure to watch him grow into the beautiful person he is fast becoming.

and this is a closie, I also did this layout for The Funky Flairs Studio and the flairs you see are from the 100% boy range

Back today with a couple of posts......Yes!! a couple.... Try to stay conscious long enough to have a little peep.
First up is a layout for the Archiscraps BlogSpot
This was the pic Julene chose for us to take inspiration from

The  curvy nature of the bridge and the serpents head at the end prompted me to scrap a pic of a very unwanted visitor to our shed a few years as we were both sitting there waiting for carpet in the house to dry. I  never in a million years thought I would scrap this pic but here it is.

Next up is a pyramid card I made for Eve Rae over at Funky Flairs Studio and featuring a few of her Christmas flairs

Thanks for popping in!!

Sharing with you today a canvas I have made featuring a couple of gorgeous flairs from Funky Flairs Studio..
The pic is of Kerri Smith and her gorgeous mum taken recently for her Mum's birthday and the inspiration for the canvas came from the very talented Marta Lapkowska after watching a video tute of her on the Lindy's Stamp Gang facebook page
I might also mention that the gorgeous flowers you see are from The Scrappers Garden.

and a few closies of Eve's beautiful flairs

And another for today....(yes!! I know!!!!.....try not to faint please.
And this one was for the June Recipe Challenge over at Home and Scrapped, they are on facebook now, suss them out.
The pic is one I lifted from facebook  of my youngest daughter Nicole (in the white) and a friend of hers.
Thanks for the challenge Heather Waldron.

Yay!! I have scrapped!!! and sharing with you a layout for bec's tic tac toe challenge over at Orange Paperie & Co. This is a beautiful pic of my grandsons girlfriend Ash, taken in Bali a few weeks ago. He messaged me on facebook and said "hey Nan, wondering if you could be really AWESOME and do a page of Ash for me"......and here it is.
On the layout I have included leaves, punching and chippies.

and here is a closie

The flairs are handmade using google eyes and patterned paper, a little technique I picked up from a visit to Joys Paperwork in Young when I popped over after work to have a chat to Annette and Kim just recently.
Thanks for taking the time to pop in and please head on over to OP and see the spectacular work on display there.
